NIRDPR PGD Rural Development Management 2018

National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR) invites applications for One-year Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development Management (PGDRDM) for 2018 session.

On completion of the Programme, the students will have developed:

* Expertise in planning and management of rural development programmes with focus on participatory development and innovation
* Competence in reorienting the development delivery systems for improved delivery of services
* Sensitivity to the issues of equity and gender
* Appreciation of the rights and entitlements of the rural poor and the socially disadvantaged groups

Eligibility: Graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognised University. Students who are in the final year and expect to complete all the requirements of graduation before 1st January, 2018 may also apply.

Entrance Test: The Entrance Test will be conducted on 19.11.2017 (Sunday) at the following
centres: Bengaluru, Bhopal,Bhubaneswar,Chennai,Dimapur,Guwahati,Hyderabad,Jaipur,Jammu,Kolkata, Lucknow, New Delhi. Patna,Pune and Thiruvanantapuram.

NIRD announces its sixth fully residential One-year ‘Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development Management (PGDRDM)’ with an aim to create a committed and competent cadre of Rural Development professionals in the country. The programme seeks to impart management techniques that will enhance the understanding of the paradigm and practice of rural development.

Eligibility : Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University.

Students who are in the final year and expect to complete all the requirements of graduation before 1st August, 2013 may also apply

Selection will be based on All India Entrance Test which will be held on 10-02-2013

Prime Minister's Rural Development Fellow Scheme

The Prime Minister's Rural Development Fellows-PMRDF scheme is being specifically launched to reach out to talented young professionals willing to be part of a larger change. After selection,these professionals will work in district where the Central Government is implementing an Integrated Action Plan to deal with left wing extremism.They will support the district administration in providing socio-economic situation analysis,identifying critical gaps in development programmes,providing inputs in preparation of district plans and outcome budget and creating a network of voluntary cooperation in the district.This is an opportunity to become the foot soldiers of development where it is needed most.

Mid-career professionals (minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in the healthcare sector for PGDHM; minimum 2 years relevant work experience in the rural/development sector for PGDRM; and 5 years relevant industry experience for PGDPM after graduation) are exempted from MAT. For Rural Management, a MAT score 400 is required. IRMA Entrance examination score for admission to session 2011-2013 is accepted.

Students should have taken of the MATs conducted by AIMA on September, December 2010 and February and May 2011.

KIIT Master in Rural Management Admissions 2009

Applications are invited for admission to 2 year full time Master in Rural Management (MRM) Programme - 2009

Eligibility :
Graduate in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with a minimum of 15 years (10+2+3) of education and having minimum 50% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) at graduation can apply. The percentage of aggregate marks is to be calculated as per the practice followed by the concerned University/ Institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree. In case the University/ Institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing obtained CGPA with the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant with 100. Those who are in the final year and expect to complete all the requirements of graduation before 15th June, 2009 can also apply.

A candidate should have qualified in MAT, CAT or XAT for the current session and obtained a good score.

Admission Process:

Successful candidates will be intimated of their final selection through admission offer letter containing the terms and condition of the admission. For the offer to be valid, the selected candidates, after going through the contents of admission offer letter, need to confirm and accept the offer with the terms and conditions for taking admission to the programme through “Acceptance Letter” along with a demand draft for Rs. 30,000/- favouring “KIIT School of Rural Management payable at Bhubaneswar towards the confirmation fee. The confirmation fee so deposited will not be refunded under any circumstances. All the candidates who have been offered admission have to pay the fees as stipulated in the admission offer otherwise they would forfeit their seat to the person next on the waiting list.
