National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR) invites applications for One-year Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development Management (PGDRDM) for 2018 session.

On completion of the Programme, the students will have developed:

* Expertise in planning and management of rural development programmes with focus on participatory development and innovation
* Competence in reorienting the development delivery systems for improved delivery of services
* Sensitivity to the issues of equity and gender
* Appreciation of the rights and entitlements of the rural poor and the socially disadvantaged groups

Eligibility: Graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognised University. Students who are in the final year and expect to complete all the requirements of graduation before 1st January, 2018 may also apply.

The programme seeks to impart management techniques that will enhance the understanding of the paradigm and practice of rural development.

The National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD) announces its second fully residential One Year ‘Post Graduate Diploma Programme in Rural Development Management (PGDRDM)’

ELIGIBILITY:
Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University. Students who are in the final year and expect to complete all the requirements of graduation before 1st August, 2009 may also apply. Some seats are reserved for the in-service candidates with at least two years of work experience in rural development and allied sectors. In-service candidates are required to apply through their employers. Organisational Sponsorship is essential. They may however, send an advance application. In-service candidates are also required to appear for the Entrance Test. However, a separate merit list will be prepared for their selection

SELECTION PROCESS:
Selection of candidates will be made through a process of All-India Entrance Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview

ENTRANCE TEST:
The Entrance Test will be conducted on 15.02.2009 at the following centres: Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dibrugarh, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Indore, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Kohima, Kanpur, Lucknow, Mangalore, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Patna, Pune, Rajkot, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Silguri, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Udaipur and Visakhapatanam.
