NIRDPR PGD Rural Development Management 2018

National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR) invites applications for One-year Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development Management (PGDRDM) for 2018 session.

On completion of the Programme, the students will have developed:

* Expertise in planning and management of rural development programmes with focus on participatory development and innovation
* Competence in reorienting the development delivery systems for improved delivery of services
* Sensitivity to the issues of equity and gender
* Appreciation of the rights and entitlements of the rural poor and the socially disadvantaged groups
* Right attitudes and values necessary for rural development professionals
* Positive thinking and leadership qualities.


Eligibility: Graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognised University. Students who are in the final year and expect to complete all the requirements of graduation before 1st January, 2018 may also apply.

Entrance Test: The Entrance Test will be conducted on 19.11.2017 (Sunday) at the following
centres: Bengaluru, Bhopal,Bhubaneswar,Chennai,Dimapur,Guwahati,Hyderabad,Jaipur,Jammu,Kolkata, Lucknow, New Delhi. Patna,Pune and Thiruvanantapuram.

NIRD announces its sixth fully residential One-year ‘Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development Management (PGDRDM)’ with an aim to create a committed and competent cadre of Rural Development professionals in the country. The programme seeks to impart management techniques that will enhance the understanding of the paradigm and practice of rural development.

Eligibility : Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University.

Students who are in the final year and expect to complete all the requirements of graduation before 1st August, 2013 may also apply

Selection will be based on All India Entrance Test which will be held on 10-02-2013

The Prime Minister's Rural Development Fellows-PMRDF scheme is being specifically launched to reach out to talented young professionals willing to be part of a larger change. After selection,these professionals will work in district where the Central Government is implementing an Integrated Action Plan to deal with left wing extremism.They will support the district administration in providing socio-economic situation analysis,identifying critical gaps in development programmes,providing inputs in preparation of district plans and outcome budget and creating a network of voluntary cooperation in the district.This is an opportunity to become the foot soldiers of development where it is needed most.

Eligibility :
* Must be 21-30 years old

National Institute of Rural Development PGDRDM 2009

The National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD) announces its second fully residential One Year ‘Post Graduate Diploma Programme in Rural Development Management (PGDRDM)’

ELIGIBILITY:
Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University. Students who are in the final year and expect to complete all the requirements of graduation before 1st August, 2009 may also apply. Some seats are reserved for the in-service candidates with at least two years of work experience in rural development and allied sectors. In-service candidates are required to apply through their employers. Organisational Sponsorship is essential. They may however, send an advance application. In-service candidates are also required to appear for the Entrance Test. However, a separate merit list will be prepared for their selection

SELECTION PROCESS:
Selection of candidates will be made through a process of All-India Entrance Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview

ENTRANCE TEST:
The Entrance Test will be conducted on 15.02.2009 at the following centres: Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawl, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dibrugarh, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Indore, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Kohima, Kanpur, Lucknow, Mangalore, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Patna, Pune, Rajkot, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Silguri, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Udaipur and Visakhapatanam. The NIRD reserves the right to cancel any of the centres if there are in-sufficient numbers of candidates and assign any other centre to the applicants

How to Apply:
Prospectus cum application forms can be obtained from the Admissions Officer, Centre for Post Graduate Studies (CPGS) free of cost. Application forms will also be given at NIRD – NERC office at Khanapara, Guwahati. Request for Application forms by Post should reach along with self addressed envelope of size 12” x 10” by 15.01.2009 during working hours (9.00 am to 5.30 pm). It can also be downloaded from the NIRD’s website www.nird.org.in

The filled in application form should be submitted along with the application fee of Rs.1000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST and PWDs) through an ‘Account Payee’ Demand Draft drawn in favour of NIRD, Hyderabad. The filled in application form should be addressed to the Admissions Officer, Centre for Post Graduate Studies (CPGS), National Institute of Rural Development, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad-500 030 (A.P) so as to reach on or before 20.01.2009. Last date for receipt of applications from the Students residing in the North Eastern States is 25.01.2009. Applications received after the cut off date shall be rejected. NIRD reserves the right to make changes to the Diploma programme design/content and the process of selection, depending upon the exigencies, without assigning any reasons whatsoever.
