Common Entrance Examination for admission to DM/MCh Medical Postgraduate Superspeciality Courses Common Entrance Examination "MH-SSET-2013" for admission to DM / MCh Medical Postgraduate Superspeciality courses in the State of Maharashtra for the academic year 2013-2014 will be held on Wednesday, 12th June, 2013 at Mumbai. This examination is subject to orders of Hon'ble Supreme Court, India, regarding admission to Super Specialty Courses through single entrance test.

MHT-CET-2012 Application Process

Government of Maharashtra shall conduct a single combined “Common Entrance Test” MHT-CET-2012 for all Health Sciences, Engineering and Pharmacy degree courses for the academic year 2012-2013. The said Common Entrance Test will be held on Thursday, 10th May 2012.

MHT CET 2012 is an entrance exam conducted for admission to all private, Government, Aided & Unaided engineering universities/colleges in Maharashtra for Undergraduate Engineering and MBBS/Medical courses. Through MHT-CET candidates can get admission to Engineering/Medical/Pharmacy courses of all Maharashtra state universities and their affiliated colleges.

Eligibility:
The qualifying Examination for appearing at MHT-CET-2012 is HSC (12th Std.) or equivalent examination with the conditions for eligibility as defined in the respective brochure(s). Maharashtra State candidates appearing for HSC (12th Std.) or equivalent examination or who have passed their qualifying examination earlier i.e. 2011 or before and desire to appear for the MHT- CET 2012 will receive their application form from their respective Jr. College / School (from where they have passed / appearing qualifying examination).

The candidate must be born on or before 31st December 1995 to be eligible to appear for MHT-CET-2012. However, for admission to Ayurveda and Unani courses, candidate must be born on or before 1st October 1995.

The candidate must be medically fit and must submit a certificate of medical fitness at the time of Preference form filling as per proforma.

To Apply:
A single Application Form and three Brochures (Health Science, Engineering and Pharmacy) will be made available from 19.03.2012.

The schedule and place of receiving and submission of Application Form is as per following:

All the three brochures (Health Science, Engineering & Pharmacy) are available on the websites of DMER (www.dmer.org ) and DTE (www.dte.org.in ). Aspiring candidates should go through the eligibility criteria as per the respective MHT-CET-2012 brochures, before purchasing the application form.

The cost of the Application Form along with the three information Brochures of MHT-CET-2012 including Examination fee is Rs.700/- for open category and all Outside Maharashtra candidates and Rs.500/- for reserve category candidates (belonging to Maharashtra State Only). This amount is not refundable.

The candidates from Outside Maharashtra (OMS) can purchase Application Form and information Brochure(s) of MHT-CET 2012 from any Divisional Authority office as mentioned in Annexure-A by submitting Demand Draft of Rs.700/- drawn in favor of "Competent Authority, MH-CET Mumbai" payable at Mumbai, drawn on any Scheduled Commercial Bank.

All candidates who for any reason whatsoever are not able to receive Application Forms through the School / Jr. College should collect it from office of Divisional Authority of his / her area (by giving a Demand draft as detailed above), but he / she has to submit it through his/her School / Jr. College (college where he / she studied 12th Std).

For Candidates who have passed HSC or Equivalent exam from Outside Maharashtra State (OMS), the place of submission of application Form, collection of Receipt cum identity card and Admit Card shall be as given in the following order.

Defence (D1 & D2): Divisional Authority of their Parent's district of domicile.

Defence (D3): Divisional Authority of their place of posting.

State Govt. Employee (Transferred Out of Maharashtra): Divisional Authority of place of original / initial posting before transfer / deputation.

Eligibility-:
• Candidate seeking admission to postgraduate Medicine/Dentistry course should hold MBBS /BDS degree of recognized University by MCI/DCI.

• A candidate who has completed one year compulsory rotating internship or is likely to complete the same on or before 31st March 2010 can appear for PIMS-AICET-PG 2010

• All such candidates will have to submit the documentary proof, from the Principal / Dean of the college regarding the likely date of completion of internship along with the manual application form, failing which the application shall be rejected.

• A candidate should have obtained permanent registration with MCI/DCI (as the case may be) or any state council. If candidate does not have such registration , he should obtain the same within one month from the date of his/her admission.

• Candidates who are previously registered and pursuing/completed the PG degree course or have obtained PG degree, are not eligible for appearing at PIMS-AICET-PG 2010.

• Candidates previously admitted to PG degree course and resigned/ left the seat are not eligible for appearing at PIMS-AICET-PG 2010 .

• Candidates who have completed Medicine postgraduate diploma course or would be completing by 31.03.2010 will be eligible for PIMS-AICET-PG 2010 for admission to Medicine postgraduate degree in the same subject only.

Application forms can be downloaded from the institute's website. Downloaded application form will be accepted along with D.D. of Rs.2000/- . The DD to be drawn in favour of “Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences”.

MHT-CET-2009 Application Process

Government of Maharashtra shall conduct a single Combined "Common Entrance Test” MHT-CET-2009 for all Health Sciences, Engineering and Pharmacy degree courses for the academic year 2009-2010. The Entrance Test will be held on Thursday, 7th May 2009. Govt of Maharashtra has appointed Director, Medical Education and Research, Mumbai as “The Competent Authority for the MHT-CET-2009”. The merit list of the above said examination will be utilized for admission in:

(1) Government/Municipal Corp/ Government Aided Colleges of Health Sciences degree courses.

(2) Government/Government Aided/University Managed Colleges/University Departments/ Autonomous Institutions/ Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai (U.I.C.T.) and Unaided Private Colleges (those colleges who have given consent to participate in MHT-CET-2009) of Engineering & Pharmacy degree courses.

(3) BVSc & AH degree course.

For selection process there will be separate Competent Authorities. For selection to Health Science degree courses, The Director, Medical Education and Research (DMER), Mumbai is the Competent Education (DTE), Mumbai will be the competent authority. The authority for selection to BVSc & AH degree course is The Registrar, Maharashtra Animal and Fisheries Science University, Nagpur.

The qualifying examination for appearing at MHT-CET-2009 is HSC (12th standard) or equivalent examination with the conditions for eligibility as defined in the respective brochure(s). Candidates should give their requirement of application form on or before 25/02/2009, to their college/school where they are studying 12th Standard. Those candidates who have passed their qualifying examination i.e. 12th standard examination earlier i.e. in 2008 or before and desire to appear for the MHT-CET 2009 should also give their requirement on or before 25/02/2009 to their respective college/school (from where they have passed the 12th standard).

A single application form and three brochures (Health Sciences, Engineering and Pharmacy) will be made available from 13/03/2009. The schedule and place of receiving and submission of application form is as per following:

Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences MBBS admissions 2009

Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences(MGIMS), Sevagram, Wardha, invites applications on prescribed form for admission to MBBS course starting from 1st July 2009. The candidates shall be selected as per their merit in the Entrance Examination to be held on 19Th April 2009 at Nagpur, Delhi, Hyderabad & Mumbai. Those students who are going to appear in 10+2 Higher Secondary Board Examination in March / April 2009 are also eligible to appear in the competitive Entrance Examination.

Eligibility
The candidate must attain 17 years of age on or before 31st December of the year of admission. The Candidate must have passed 12Th standard examination under 10+2 system of Maharashtra State Higher Secondary Education Board or equivalent examination of any recognised Board or any Indian University with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually in each subject in one and the same attempt. The candidate must have obtained minimum 50% marks (40% in the case of SC/ ST/ VJ/ NT/ OBC) taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

The fee structure in MGIMS is as applicable to the Govt. Medical Colleges in Maharashtra State. The Institute does not have any paid seats.

In the entrance examination the paper of Physics, Chemistry and Biology will have multiple choice questions, while that on Gandhian Thought will be of essay and / or short answer type.

How to Apply-:
The Prospectus and Application Form with syllabus, question papers of Gandhian thought for the last 5 years, with model question papers of Physics Chemistry and Biology can be had from the office of the Dean by remitting a sum of Rs.1050/- (Rs.1000 + Rs.50 as postal charges) only by Money order in favour of the Dean, Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sevagram, District Wardha - 442102 or by paying Rs.1000/- in cash at the college counter. Candidates must write their full address in capital letters and phone number on the space for Communication and the space for sender's address on the money order form.

PGD-CET 2009 Maharashtra on 25Th January 2009

Entrance Examination (PGD-CET 2009) for Dental Postgraduate Courses (MDS) will be held on Sunday, 25Th January 2009 from 10.00 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.

The cost of application form along with the Information Brochure of PGD-CET 2009 and Examination fee is Rs. 1800/- to be payable by DD/Pay Order drawn on any Nationalised or Scheduled commercial Bank in favour of “Director, Medical Education and Research, Mumbai” payable at Mumbai. The Brochure and Application Form will be available at the following institutions from 10/12/2008 to 24/12/2008. Aspiring candidates should go through the eligibility criteria as per the PGD-CET-2009 brochure, before purchasing the application form.

Eligibility Criteria
(1) A candidate must be an Indian National.
(2) A candidate, who has passed final B.D.S. degree from a recognized dental college included in the schedule of the Dental Council of India and situated in Maharashtra, affiliated to the Non-agricultural University established under Maharashtra Universities Act, 1994 and the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik and who has obtained registration either from the Dental Council of India or Maharashtra State Dental Council (MSDC) after completing one year compulsory rotating internship will be eligible to appear for PGP-CET-2009. The candidates who have passed final BDS examination completing internship by 31st March 2009 are also eligible.
(3) Candidate obtained BDS Degree before introduction of one year compulsory rotating internship training, i.e. on or before 1989 also will be eligible to appear for PGD-CET-2009.
(4) Candidate who has obtained BDS degree from Deemed University is not eligible to appear for PGD-CET-2009.
(5) A candidate should have obtained DCI/MSDC registration by the date of Preference Form filling process. (Refer Rule No. 6.3 of PGD-CET-2009 brochure)
(6) The candidates who were admitted to the colleges/institutions which are now affiliated to the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS) will be eligible till such time as they are awarded the degree by the University established under Maharashtra Universities Act, 1994.
(7) A candidate who is domiciled in Maharashtra and who has obtained admission under 15% quota for All India Entrance Examination (AIEE) for BDS course and who has obtained the degree from a university situated outside the State of Maharashtra will also be eligible for PGD-CET. (Refer Rule No. 6.7 of PGD-CET-2009 brochure)

(4) The candidates who are domiciled in Maharashtra and who have obtained admission under 15% quota for All India Entrance Examination (AIEE) for MBBS course and who have obtained the degree from a University situated outside the State of Maharashtra will also be eligible for PGM-CET-2009. (Refer Rule No. 7.7 of PGM-CET-2009 brochure)
(5) The candidate who has obtained MBBS degree from Deemed University is not eligible to appear for PGM-CET-2009.

Bharati Vidyapeeth University all India CET MBBS/BDS/ BAMS/BHMS admissions 2009

Bharati Vidyapeeth University conducts all India CET for admissions to MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS courses. There are four colleges to which this exam opens gate for admission and these colleges are deemed colleges.

Eligibility criteria:

1. The candidate appearing for the examination must have cleared class 12th examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology.
2. Candidates who are sitting for the examination this year are also allowed to appear for the examination.

AMUPMDC 2008

A Common Entrance Test (Asso-CET-2008) will be conducted by the Association for admissions to Health Science Courses in Private Unaided Medical, Dental, Ayurvedic, Homeopathic, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Nursing Colleges (i.e. MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BPTh, BOTh, BSc-Nursing).

Asso-CET-2008 will be held in the form of multiple – choice questions. The answer sheets are assessed by scanning with the help of computers. The admissions will be on the basis of merit in Asso-CET-2008 conducted by Association.

Students appearing for ASSO-CET 2008 can now apply online. The procedure for applying online is simple and easy . Please follow the steps as mentioned below:


1. How to apply :

The application form will be available to you on the website. You can click on the Application Procedure tab from the Main Menu on your Home page and then click on Online Application. Alternately, you can directly go to Online Application icon on the Home Page. Fill in the application form with your complete details. You will also be required to upload a recent color photograph along with a scanned signature image. All the fields that have been provided are compulsory. Make sure that you re-check all the information you enter. Incorrect or misleading data in the form will result in the rejection of your application. On filling the application form, you need to click on the text box indicating that you accept the terms and conditions of AMUPMDC. You may wish to change some information that you provide. In that case, click on reset. If you are sure about the authenticity of the information that you provided, proceed by clicking on Submit.

2. Payment :

After your form has been submitted, you will be required to make a payment. The Examination & Application processing fees are Rs.2000.00* (*Plus Tax & surcharge of Rs 119.10 applicable). You will be asked to fill in details like your address and mode of payment. You can make the payment using :


a. Credit Cards
b. Net Banking
c. Itz Card (Log on to http://www.itzshop.com for more details)
You will be required to purchase Itz Cash Cards. These cards need to be merged into a single card. Log onto http://www.itzcards.com for details or to purchase these cards online. Alternately, you can Call 1901-345-7575 (from MTNL or BSNL lines) for home delivery of Itz Cash across the country.

d. Mobile Payments

You can select any one method for making the payment. Ensure that you provide accurate details in order to ensure a smooth completion of the transaction. On completion of all formalities, make sure to re-check the information that you provided and then click on submit to proceed. PLEASE CLICK ON THE SUBMIT BUTTON ONLY ONCE. You will receive a confirmation stating that the payment procedure has been completed successfully.

3. Confirmation :

On successful completion of the transaction, you will get a confirmation of your payment. We shall provide you with your registration details. This shall include your Order No, Application No etc. You will also receive two Email notifications.

You can login to the site using your Application No and Date-of-birth. You can view your admit card and results of your entrance exam here. Admit Card and statement of marks will be available after a certain dates. You can check the notice Board on the website for periodic updates.

ELIGIBILITY


A candidate will be eligible for admission to Health Science Courses i.e. MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BPTh, BOTh, BSc-Nursing for the academic year 2008–09 on fulfillment of the following conditions:



The candidate may be an Indian National / NRI / Foreign National. The candidate is required to produce proof in support of his/her Nationality from a District Magistrate, Additional Magistrate or Metropolitan Magistrate. School Leaving certificate of HSC/12th Std indicating the nationality of the candidate as Indian or Valid Passport also shall be considered as sufficient proof of Nationality.

The candidate must be born on or before 1st January, 1992 to be eligible to appear for AssoCET-2008. For admissions to B. Sc Nursing candidate must be born on or before 31st December 1991 as directed by Indian Nursing Council. The Secondary School Certificate (i.e. SSC) or equivalent examination certificate or the certificates of age and nationality endorsing the date of birth will constitute the valid proof.

The candidate must be medically fit and must submit a certificate of medical fitness .

A candidate must have passed the qualifying examination i. e. Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent examination (with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology as subjects). NRI’s and Foreign Nationals shall submit eligibility certificate obtained from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.

Eligibility Criteria for qualifying Examination for various courses:-
• For MBBS and BAMS :
A candidate belonging to open category must have obtained not less than 50% Marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology subject taken together at the HSC (or Equivalent) Examination.
A Candidates belonging to Reserved Category must have obtained not less than 40% Marks Physics, Chemistry & Biology subject taken together at the HSC (or Equivalent) Examination.
• For BDS and B.Sc. Nursing:-
A candidate belonging to open category must have obtained not less than 50% Marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English subject taken together at the HSC (or Equivalent) Examination.
A Candidates belonging to Reserved Category must have obtained not less than 40% Marks Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English subject taken together at the HSC (or Equivalent) Examination.
• For BHMS, BPTh, BOTh above rules are not applicable, passing at Std. XII or HSC or equivalent examination is necessary.


No rounding off of the marks secured by the candidate will be done in individual subject or final total while converting marks of the individual subject out of 100 or total marks out of 300. For example, if the total of the marks in three subjects comes to 149 out of 300, percentage comes to 49.66 that will not qualify the candidate.

The candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination i.e. HSC or equivalent in March/April–2008 are also eligible to appear for AssoCET-2008, provided they must fulfill the eligibility conditions under the rule mentioned above.

The eligibility conditions may vary in accordance with Judicial Pronouncements and orders issued by appropriate Authorities from time to time.
