XLRI- Xavier School of Management, one of India's premier B-Schools and Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, USA), jointly invite applications for admission to the programme Master of Science Degree in Positive Organization Development & Change (MPOD) 2015.

The Master of Science Program in Positive Organization Development and Change (MPOD), pioneered by the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, USA), is now being offered for the first time in India in partnership with XLRI Jamshedpur. It is specifically geared toward the needs of executives and change agents from around the world who face a torrent of continual change, increasing complexity, and growing interconnectedness in multicultural contexts; and who must respond to these challenges in ways that yield economic value for their organizations while upholding standards of environmental and social responsibility.

The MPOD will be conducted in 6 modules spread over 15 months. The modules will be conveniently spaced 10 to 12 weeks apart-thereby making the program flexible enough to accommodate the busy schedules of executives and enabling them to attend school without leaving their employment.

Each module will be of four to seven days' duration. Four of these modules will be held at XLRI Jamshedpur or other Indian locations. The final two modules will be held back-to-back over a fortnight at Weatherhead's CWRU campus in Cleveland.

The intervening periods between program modules will involve project work, self-study, and online guidance by the program faculty at XLRI and Weatherhead.

AIIMS AIPGDEE 2015 Application Process

AIIMS, New Delhi, has invited Applications for AIPGDEE 2015. AIPG Dental Entrance Exam is conducted by AIIMS to select candidates for admission into PG (MDS) courses in different Dental Colleges against 50 per cent All India quota.

The exam is computer based written Test and will be conducted on January 24, 2015.

Eligibility Criteria :

Candidate should be a Indian national and must have BDS degree from a recognised dental college or a foreign degree included in the schedules of the Indian Dental Council Act, 1956. He should also have completed the required period of 12 months pre-registration internship from a recognized hospital on or before March 31, 2015.

The prospectus is available on the website www.aiimsexams.org. The cost of Application-cum-Examination fee is Rs.1000/-(Rs.800/- in case of SC/ST candidates). PWD (Person with disability) candidates is exempted from Application cum Examination fee.

Candidates who find themselves eligible for AIPG Dental Entrance Exam can apply it online from the given link: http://www.aiimsexams.org/. The registration will start from November 25, 2014 and will end on December 24, 2014. The cost of Application-cum-Examination fee is Rs 1,000 (Rs 800 in case of SC/ST candidates).

Candidates who comes under PWD (Person with disability) category is exempted from Application cum Examination fee.

Selection Procedure :

Selection of Candidates is based on his/her performance in the All India Post-Graduate Dental Entrance Examination (AIPGDEE) conducted by the institute.

National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal has opened the admissions to Master of Business Administration (MBA) program for the session commencing from July 2015.

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates applying for admissions must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with not less than 60% marks or CGPA of at least 6.5 on a 0-10 scale grading system, in an aggregate taken of the marks scored in all subjects of all the university examination conducted during the entire prescribed period of the degree program are taken in account.

General Astronomy Course by MPBIFR

M. P. Birla Institute of Fundamental Research, Bangalore is going to conduct a "General Astronomy" course for the general public from January 19 to February 4, 2015 in the eveing.

The medium of instruction will be in English.

The syllabus for this course is framed to cover the basics involved in understanding the astronomical concepts like identification of constellations, measurement of brightness and distances of stars, types of stars, celestial coordinates, optical telescopes, Astrobiology, etc. It also includes an exposure to the observational techniques and the usage of astronomical telescopes.

Students will be given an exposure to skywatch during the period of the course. Star watching sessions will be conducted after the classes, subject to clear sky conditions. After completing the course, certificates will be awarded to the participants.

TISS-NET 2015 Masters Programme

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences- TISS ,Mumbai, Tuljapur, Guwahati and Hyderabad invites applications ( online and offline ) for the National Entrance Test (TISS-NET 2015) to be held on January 10, 2015 across the country for admissions to its Master's degree programmes.

TISS admission to full-time post-graduate degree Master of Arts (M.A), Master of Science (M.Sc), Master of Hospital Administration (M.H.A) and Master of Public Health (M.P.H) programmes

Eligibility: Candidates should have a bachelor's degree with minimum of three-year duration or its equivalent (under the 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 or 10+2+2+1 year bridge course pattern of study or any other pattern fulfilling the mandatory requirements of 15 years formal education) from a recognised university are eligible to apply.

Selection procedure: TISS-National Entrance Test (TISS-NET 2015), pre-interview test and personal interview conducted by the institute would be the basis to shortlist candidates.

IIT JEE 2015 Application Process

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes at NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded technical institutions, institutions funded by several participating state governments and other institutions.

For admission to NITs, Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) like IIITs etc. and other participating Institutions, the merit/rank list shall be prepared based on 40% weightage to school Boards marks in class 12th or equivalent examination and 60% weightage to JEE(Main). The weightage to school Board/Equivalent examination marks shall be considered only after normalization.

The States of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttrakhand, Nagaland & Odisha have joined JEE (Main) system. Therefore, the candidates seeking admission to the institutions in these states, which were earlier admitting based on their State level examination, are also advised to fill in the JEE (Main) -2015 application form online.
The JEE (Main) 2015 will be conducted from April 4 - 11, 2014.

The JEE (Main) will also be an eligibility test for the JEE (Advanced), which candidates have to take if they are aspiring for admission to the UG courses offered by the IITs/ISM Dhanbad.


The detailed information bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, eligibility criteria to appear, examination fee, cities of examination, State code of eligibility, age relaxation, process of normalization of marks, eligibility for admission, reservation policies and important dates will be available on JEE (Main) website www.jeemain.nic.in on 7th November 2014. The
aspiring candidates are requested to download the information bulletin from above mentioned website only and read the same carefully before applying.

The aspiring candidates have to apply online only through JEE (Main) website www.jeemain.nic.in. The online application process will start from 7th November, 2014 onwards. The last date for application is 18th December, 2014. The eligibility criteria for JEE (Main) & JEE (Advanced) are different. The candidates are requested to read the information bulletin carefully and themselves ensure their eligibility as per the criteria laid down for JEE (Main) as well as JEE (Advanced). In order to facilitate the aspiring candidates, the JEE (Main) secretariat has designated Facilitation Centres across the country who will help the candidates in filling online application without any charge. The list of such institutes is available on the JEE (Main) website and in JEE (Main) – 2015 Information Bulletin.

To apply online for JEE Main, just follow these easy steps:

Check your eligibility from the information bulletin that is available online on the official website.

Go through the online format and instructions for the online application available in that information bulletin carefully and keep all that information ready before you apply

Keep the required documents like the scanned copy of your photograph, signature and left hand thumb impression ready in JPG format.

Fill the application form very carefully, reading through all the instructions on the form

Upload the scanned images of your photograph, signature and thumb impression in the specified sections

Submit these details and after this an e-challan would be generated

Now submit the due examination fee by either credit or debit card or by the e-challan

There would be an acknowledgement slip that you need to download and keep this slip carefully with you to refer to it in future.
The candidates applying for this exam need to mention their mobile number and email id when applying online in order to get all the further information released in regard with this exam.

University of Calcutta invited application for admission to two-year Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme in Finance offered at the Department of Commerce for the session 2015-17. The application forms will be available from November 10, 2014.

Eligibility
Candidates should have bachelor's degree with honours in Arts/Science/Commerce or a bachelor's degree in engineering and technology/medical science/law/professional course or its equivalent from any university recognised by the University of Calcutta.
