CHALMERS Volvo Group Scholarships for Indian and Chinese Students in Sweden, 2019

Four scholarships will be awarded in 2019 to citizens of the People’s Republic of China and/or the Republic of India.100% fee tuition fee waivers awarded to students with Indian and Chinese citizenship.

The Scholarships include possibilities for internships during the summer, a final Master’s thesis project and mentorship.

The Chalmers University of Technology is a Swedish university located in Gothenburg that focuses on research and education in technology, natural science, architecture, maritime and other management areas.

These scholarships are available to pursue a master degree.

Study Subject: Applicants to the following Master’s programmes are eligible to apply for the scholarship:Automotive Engineering
Computer Systems & Networks
Electric Power Engineering
Software Engineering and Technology


Eligible Countries: Citizens of the People’s Republic of China and/or the Republic of India can apply for this scholarship.

Entrance Requirements:
1st year Master’s programme applicants to one or several of the programmes
Citizens of the People’s Republic of China or the Republic of India who are required to pay tuition fees for Swedish university studies

English Language Requirements: The following language tests and minimum scores are accepted by Chalmers as proof of English language proficiency:

Cambridge CPE or CAE: Pass
IELTS (academic training), 6.0 (with no part of the test below 5.0) TOEFL (paper-based): 550 (with minimum score 4 on written part)
TOEFL (computer-based): 213
TOEFL (Internet-based): 79 (with minimum score 17 on written part)
The TOEFL (Institution) code is 9520.

The scholarship application is an online application, consisting of two steps. We encourage you to apply for scholarships as soon as possible since this will greatly expedite the assessment process. However, there is no correlation between how early an application is made and the likelihood of receiving a scholarship.

Delhi government has recently announced Chief Minister's Urban Leaders Fellowship Programme on Twitter. The programme wishes to fill a total of 30 positions out of which 10 will be for Associate Fellows.

About the Programme

The Chief Minister’s Urban Leaders Fellowship programme provides a unique opportunity to young leaders across India to work within Delhi government to address some of the most pressing urban challenges in India, and experience what ‘making change happen’ looks like. The Fellowship aims to attract outstanding young men and women from across the country under the age of 35 years who are passionate about public service and are willing to work for two years.


Key Features

» Fellows will be assigned to work with Ministers or Senior officials across various departments of Delhi government such as Education, Health, Water, Environment, Transport, Art & Culture etc.

» Fellows will provide analytical support in the formulation of policies, implementation of projects and various governance initiatives.

» Remuneration of ₹1,25,000 per month will be provided to Fellows (20 positions) and ₹75,000 per month will to Associate Fellows (10 positions).

Santoor Scholarship For Poor Girls

Santoor Scholarship is a platform for empowering underprivileged girls by providing them with the financial support necessary for completing their graduation," S Prasanna Rai, Senior General Manager, Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting told PTI.

The Santoor Scholarship program is an initiative of Wipro Consumer Care and Wipro Cares. The program intends to financially support girls from disadvantaged backgrounds, who wish to pursue higher education after grade 12. Launched in 2016-17, the program offers support to 900 students every year, across the states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Telangana.

It is a recurring annual program and the selected students are supported for the duration of their higher education. The support covers tuition fees and incidental expenses.

Over the last two years, close to 1800 students have received support through the Santoor Scholarship Program.

Besides students inclined towards professional courses, those showing a keen interest in pursuing their higher education in the fields of humanities, liberal arts and sciences are strongly encouraged to apply. Preference is given to students from backward districts.

Eligibility to qualify for Santoor Scholarship

To qualify, the student must have passed her grade 10 and 12 from a government school/college.

Part III: (a) English Proficiency and (b) Logical Reasoning

Part IV: Mathematics or Biology (For B.Pharm candidates)
BITSAT- 2018 Application process

Interested candidates should register their names for BITSAT -2018by applying in the prescribed application form online.

Complete the application form online and

pay the prescribed fees. Also take the printout of the filled-inform for your future reference.

The prescribed fee for BITSAT -2018is Rs. 2950/-(two thousand nine hundred fifty) for male candidates and Rs. 2450/-(two thousand four hundred and fifty) for female candidates.

If a candidate chooses Dubai as a test center the application fee for both male and female candidates will be same and will be US $70 (or Indian Rs. 4500/-).
