The Central Institute of Fisheries Education (CIFE),Mumbai is a Deemed University under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research ,New Delhi..The CIFE has been rendering yeoman service in fisheries training since its inception. The Institutes head quarters is located at Mumbai and has four Regional Centres located in different parts of the country. It is also designing and imparting training programmes for the aspiring entrepreneurs and field functionaries.

All India competitive Examination for admission to Ph.D Programme in various discipline of Fisheries Science for the academic session 2010-2011 commencing from 01.10.2010 will be held on 22nd August 2010 (Sunday) at Mumbai/Kolkata/Kochi/Delhi.
