IIT Madras invited applications for admission in the departments of Aerospace, Applied Mechanics, Biotechnology, Chemical, Chemistry, Civil, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical, Engineering Design, Humanities and Social Sciences, Management Studies, Mathematics, Mechanical, Metallurgical and Materials, Ocean and Physics.

Opportunities also exist to do joint Ph.D. between IITM-NUS, Singapore. Joint Ph.D. programme is also offered by IIT Madras, SCTIMST, Trivandrum and CMC, Vellore in the area of Biomedical Devices and Technology.

Scholars admitted to Ph.D. and M.S. programmes under regular scheme (fulltime) are eligible for the Financial Assistance
