DTE Maharashtra Engineering Admission 2014

Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra, has stared issuing the online applications for admission to first year engineering / technology programmes, commencing in 2014.

The Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai is the Competent Authority for admission to First Year Engineering 2014-2015. The schedule for Centralised Admission Process (CAP) is declared. The aspiring candidates are hereby informed to refer the Information Brochure - Annexure I for detailed procedure of CAP. Detailed information is available at the Application Form receipt Centers(ARC).

Candidates who have passed 10+2 and qualified in JEE Main 2014 are eligible for admission to engineering / technology courses in Maharashtra.

DTE had already mentioned in its notification that this year, engineering admissions will be done through JEE Main 2014 scores. DTE board will consider class 12th state board marks and JEE Main 2014 paper 1 marks to prepare merit list for admission to engineering / technology courses in Maharashtra.

Candidates have to apply for the admission to engineering courses in engineering colleges across the state through the DTE Maharashtra website.

FYJC Mumbai form submission extended till 27 June

FYJC Mumbai form submission extended till 27 June

Maharashtra state education department decided to extend the form submission process for junior college admissions by two days.

Now, students can submit forms till 4 pm on June 27. On Thursday, SSC students will get a hard copy of the marksheet from their respective schools.

The first merit list for FYJC admissions will be declared on July 2 at 5pm. The admission process is expected to continue till July 17.

CSIR–URDIP PGD in Patinformatics 2014

CSIR–URDIP is now launching for the first time in the country a one year full time post–graduate diploma course in the field of Patinformatics.

The course has been designed to train the candidates in the art of patent searching, reading and analysis for the purpose of creating patent landscapes, identifying research gaps, competitive intelligence, new venture evaluation, patent portfolio management and techno-legal studies (Patentability, Validity, Infringement and freedom to operate).

The course modules are designed to include a blend of class room teaching and hands on training on live projects of different types.

On successful completion of the program the candidates will be awarded “Post-Graduate Diploma in Patinformatics” by the Academy of Scientific and Innovative Research (AcSIR), a university established by an act of the Parliament.

The young professionals trained in this discipline will find growing job opportunities in Corporate Planning, Business Development, IP and R&D Management functions as well as in Law firms, Consultancy companies and other Knowledge processing organizations.

Eligibility : Minimum qualification required is a Post Graduate Degreefrom recognized universities. The candidate should have any one of the following:

Maharashtra HSC - XII Result 2014

Maharashtra state board of secondary and higher secondary education (MSBSHSE) will announce class XII (HSC) results on Monday, 2 June 2014
The results will be declared on June 2 at 1.00 pm and students will be able to access it through the website — www.mahresult.nic.in, www.maharashtraeducation.com, www.hscresults.mkcl.org, www.rediff.com/exam.

The students can also access the results by sending a simple text message as MHHSC and send it to 57766.

A total of 13,37,114 have appeared for the examination. Of these, 4,50,176 have appeared for the science stream, 4,66,723 from the arts stream, 3,62,705 from the commerce stream and 54,347 from the vocational stream. The exam was held in from February 26 to March 26, 2014.

Those students who want to go for re-verification of their marks they can do it after the getting the original mark sheet of the result and submit it before June 20 to their respective divisional boards.

Re-exams will be in October 2014 or March 2015.

Those students who want to apply for the photocopy of the answer sheets, they can apply between June 2 and June 21, 2014 and send their application to the respective divisional boards.
