Indira Gandhi National Open University has invited application from the eligible candidates for admission into M.Phil and PhD (Regular Mode) Courses for the academic session July 2017

PhD Program

PhD Programmes will be offered for July 2017 session in the following disciplines: Geology, French, Geography, Journalism & Mass Communication, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Gender and Development Studies, Theatre Arts, Biochemistry, Women’s Studies, and Fine Arts. Meanwhile

M.Phil Program
MPhil Programmes are offered for July 2017 session in Chemistry and Geography


Eligibility

IGNOU has informed via admission notification that these programmes are launched in strict compliance with University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of PhD/MPhil Degrees) Regulations, 2016


Application Procedure

The eligible candidates should apply online at https://onlineadmission.ignou.ac.in/

The PhD/M.Phil Programmes are offered by IGNOU on a Regular Mode, not distance education mode

Candidates fulfilling eligibility criteria in the respective disciplines may download the soft copy of the application form from the IGNOU website www.ignou.ac.in (the link is available as research degree programmes at the bottom of the Home page) and submit the filled in form along with the demand draft for Rs.1000/- drawn in favor of IGNOU payable at New Delhi.
