Ajinkya DY Patil University Scholarships

Ajinkya DY Patil University has launched a scholarship programme exclusively for the ward of policemen. ADYPU believes that the endeavours of the policemen during the Covid-19 crisis should not go unrecognised.

As a token of gratitude ADYPU has introduced a scholarship programme Yashwant Dyanarthi Shishyavratti in the name of the grandfather of Chairman Dr Ajeenkya DY Patil.

For every admission, ADYPU will offer up to 50% scholarship to the ward/child of Police personnel. ADYPU is committed to providing 100% scholarships to students who have scored more than 95% marks in their class 12 exams.

In recognition of this, ADYPU has signed an MOU with several police departments including Pune Rural Police, Solapur Police and Kolhapur Police and in talks with many more.

The police force, as one of the sentinels of democracy, should be applauded and encouraged for being the frontline heroes at this time of national emergency.

Selection criteria

• A student who will be enrolled as a fulltime student in an undergraduate program
• Police ID of parents is mandatory for scholarship
• Student must clear all the norms of eligibility of ADYPU 

Selected candidates will get 50% scholarship for enrolling to the university and those who scored 95% marks in their class 12 exams will get a 100% scholarship.
