IISc Bachelor of Science Programme 2011
The Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore will start a four - year Bachelor of Science (B.S) Programme in 2011. The following major disciplines will be available in this programme.
Biology
Chemistry
Environmental Science
Materials
Mathematics
Physics
Students specialising in any of the above disciplines will also take courses in engineering, humanities, and inter-disciplinary areas for a well - rounded learning experience.
Students who will appear for the 12th Standard board examination (or equivalent) in 2011 and those who have passed this examination in 2010 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects are eligible to apply for admission to this programme. Selection will be based on national examinations such as KVPY and through other channels to be announced soon (the last date for applying to the KVPY programme is September, 10 2010)
