Indian Maritime University (IMU) invites applications for admission to the course in IMU Campuses and Affiliated Colleges for February 2011 Batch.
Eligibility Criteria : Applicants must be 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised Board or University with an aggregate of 55% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and minimum of 50% in English either at matriculation or higher secondary level. Selection Procedure : Selection is based on performance of candidate in IMU-Common Entrance Test (IMU-CET) which is scheduled to be held on 19th December, 2010 (Sunday) between 10am to 1 pm at different centres throughout the country.
How to Apply : Detailed brochure consisting of application form can be downloaded from www.imu.tn.nic.in. Filled in application form with requisite fee and enclosures should be sent to "Academic Section" Indian Maritime University, East Coast Road, Uthandi, Chennai - 600 119" in an envelope superscribed "Application form for Diploma in Nautical Science leading to B.Sc (Nautical Science) before 30th Novermber, 2010. The application form should be accompanied with requisite demand draft for Rs.800/- (Rs.450/- for SC/ST candidates ) drawn in favour of "Indian maritime University" payable at Chennai.
