Applications are invited for admission to MA Bharathnatyam, MA rhythmology at the University of Madras

Eligibility :

For MA Bharathnatayam BA / BSC/ BCom / or any other degree of the University of Madras or any degree recognised as equivalent thereto by the Syndicate of the University of Madras and five years of performance or five years of teaching or diploma in dance of Madras University or any other diploma accepted as equivalent by the Syndicate Candidates who have completed 21 years of age as on July 1st of every year in which the candidate submits the application. The candidate has to put in 30 days of attendance per year

For MA Rhythmology - Any degree from the University of Madras or any degree recognised as equivalent by the Syndicate of University of Madras and five years of performance or five years of teaching or any degree recognised as equivalent.

The filled in application should be sent directly to M. Prameela, professor and dean, Department of Indian Music, University of Madras, Chennai 600 005. Application form can be brought in person at the information Centre Univ. of Madras, Chennai 600 005 on payment of Rs.200 (Rs.100 for SC/ST candidates on production of attested photo copy of the community certificate) by cash. Those who want to obtain application by post have to send a written requisition specifying the name of the programme together with a demand draft for a sum of Rs.250/- for Rs.200/- towards cost of application and Rs.50/- towards postage drawn in favour of "The Registrar", Univ of Madras, Chennai - 5.

Tholkappiar Valagam, Chepauk, Chennai on all days (Saturdays and Sundays also) except National holidays. Prospectus can be downloaded from the university website and the filled-in application of same may be sent along with the DD/bank challan (SBI or Indian Bank any branch in India) payable at Chennai. All DDs/ Challans to be drawn in favour of "The Director, Institute of Distance Education, University of Madras, Chennai" Application and prospectus are also available in the Study Centres and participatory programme centre of the IDE, University of Madras. National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research MTech HRD ME Ed

The National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research invites applications for Master of Technology in Human Resource Development (MTech HRD) and Master of Engineering Education (ME Ed).

Both programmes will be affiliated to the University of Madras.

Eligibility
Participants must hold a Degree in Engineering (BE) or Technology (BTech) or its equivalent as recognised by University of Madras, Chennai.

How to apply
Prospectus with application forms can be obtained from the Director, NITTTR, Chennai 600 113 on payment of Rs 400/- (Rs 200/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST communities) through Demand Draft drawn in favour of The Director, NITTTR, Chennai payable at Chennai.

The reservation for candidates from OBC - 27 per cent, SC - 7.5 per cent, ST - 5 per cent as Govt of India Policy.

Students belonging to SC / ST communities are eligible for UGC scholarship.
