M.Tech. Nano Science and Nano Technology Admissions 2009 Delhi University

University of Delhi invites applications for 3 Year M.Tech. in Nano Science and NanoTechnology, Jointly conducted by Department of Physics and Astrophysics
and Department of Chemistry

The duration of the course is six semesters. However, students will be required to undergo course work / training in the summer vacations during the three years of the programme, either in the Department or at other National Labs.

Eligibility Criteria-:
The candidate must have qualified Joint Admission Test (JAM) conducted by Indian Institutes of Technology. The candidate should have had atleast one year of Mathematics course during the B.Sc.. In addition the candidate should have secured atleast 60 % in one of the following courses.
• B.Sc. Honours in Physics / Chemistry / Biological Sciences
• B.Sc. General in Physics / Chemistry / Biological Sciences
• B.Sc. Programme in Physical Sciences / Chemical Sciences / Biological Sciences

Relaxation in the minimum eligibility criterion-:
The short listed candidates in order of merit would be called for interview. Final selection will be made on the basis of an Interview of the short -listed candidates.
Candidate who has completed any Master's Degree or pursuing any Master's Degree will not be eligible for this course.

Age Requirements-:
No Person shall be qualified for admission to the M.Tech course unless he/she is at least 20 years of age before the first of October in the year in which he/she seeks admission. However, the Vice-Chancellor may, on the basis of individual merit, relax the age limit up to a maximum period of six months.

Application form can be downloaded from the Delhi University website (http://www.du.ac.in).

The application form along with a demand draft of Rs.250/- in favour of The Registrar, University of Delhi payable at Delhi branch must reach in the
office of M.Tech. "Nanoscience and Nanotechnology" Department of Chemistry, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007 by 4:30PM on or before 30th June 2009 (Tuesday)last date
