Eligibility : Bachelor's degree in any faculty with 3 years of post-qualification supervisory / executive work experience.
Classes - 2 weekdays and Sat (6:30 pm to 9:30 pm) and Sun (9am to 12 noon). Selection will be based on Admission Test and Personal interview.
* PGDHR (Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources)
A Unique 20 month weekend program
PGDHR program is designed to train HR managers in the skills of effective performance management with the strategic organizational objectives that sustains growth of an organization. Also for all those line managers on supervisors who wish to make career in HR.
Eligibility : Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks and 3 years of post-qualification work experience, preferably in the area of HR in an executive capacity.
Classes - Sat (4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) and Sun (9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) Selection will be based on Personal interview.
* MPE (Management Program for Executives)
22month weekend program
MPE program is designed to meet the need of the corporate world, through which comprehensive knowledge is imparted in the field of finance, marketing, HR and lots more. Its more than just a degree....it empowers you to chase your dreams.
Eligibility : Bachelor's degree with minimum 50% marks and 3 years of work experience, in an executive capacity after graduation.

The essence of part time MBA in NMIMS is just one: ATTENDANCE.
It doesn't matter how much you study, how much you score, what problems you have....etc. Everything boils down to attendance.
I am not at all against attendance being given importance. In fact, I have had a very good attendance record.
But no consideration is given to any of your problems - work, office tour, medical, any other personal issue.
You just miss 1 month and you'll have to repeat the year afresh. Even the Law does not penalize you twice for the same crime; but NMIMS penalizes you 4 times. Here's how:
Out of 100 marks in a subject; 10 marks are reserved for attendance.
Also 40 marks are internal, decided by the professor. In 75 % of subjects, the professor basis this internal marks on your attendance.
10 marks are deducted for every 10% reduction in attendance below the threshold of 80%. Suppose you score 70 marks in a subject and your attendance is 60%. Hence it is 20% below 80%. Therefore 20 marks deduction and your new score becomes 50 marks.
Attendance below 50% even if you have genuine issue is considered almost as a failure. This means even if you scored 100 upon 100, you are effectively fail in it.
My advice is if you can give 80% attendance for 10 months for next 3 years, then only join NMIMS.
Else JBIMS is much better off.
