Advanced Diploma in Banking Technology

Established in 2002, PNBIIT is an independent society set up by Punjab National Bank and registered under societies Registration Act to promote training and education in BFI Sector with focus on IT.

Objectives : With the evolution of CBS in Banks there is a dearth of qualified IT Professionals with twin skills of Banking and IT. To bridge this gap PNBIIT offers Advanced Diploma in Banking Technology aimed at creating a well equipped pool of techno-bankers for Banking and IT sector.

The six months Certification Programme “Advanced Diploma in Banking Technology (ADBT)” of pnbiit for B.Tech (IT & CS) and MCA pass outs was started in 2007 with focus on industry relevant core IT and inputs of banking including operational areas to serve as a bridge between academia and industry.
The ADBT is aimed at creating a pool of competent techno-bankers for Banking & IT Sector by imparting in-depth knowledge and expertise to the students through innovative learning supported by extensive hands - on experience in labs as well as at Bank’s branches, Data Centre and Other Offices. By bridging the gap between industry and academia, ADBT aims at creating Techno Bankers

Eligibility :
MCA / BE / B.Tech (Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunication, IT) with minimum 60%

Age : Not be more than 25 years as on 01.11.2010

Placement : Previous three batches of ADBT successfully placed in organizations like Punjab National Bank, Dena Bank, National Payment Corporation of India, ICICI Bank, Onward Technologies Ltd., Nelito, Nurture Software Ltd.
