RBI Young Scholars Award Scheme 2011

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has launched the RBI Young Scholars Award Scheme to generate interest in an awareness about the Indian baking sector and RBI. Under the Scheme, the RBI will select a maximum of 150 Young scholars through a countrywide competitive examination and award scholarship. Selection test will focus on the role and functions of RBI and banks in India and will be held in English as well as in all major regional languages. Selected candidates will be required to work on projects in select offices of RBI for 2 to 3 months and will be paid a consolidated stipend of Rs.7500/- per month during the duration of the project. RBI will assist outstation awardees in boarding and lodging. The awardees shall have no right/claim for an appointment in the RBI. Any candidate who had qualified and worked at RBI under the RBI Young Scholars Award Scheme in any of the previous years are not eligible to apply again.

All students, between 18 and 23 years of age, currently pursuing their undergraduate studies in any subject under any recognized university in India, are eligible to take the competitive examination. There is no application fee. The selection test will be held on January 9, 2011 at various centres across India. The results of the selection test are likely to be announced in the middle of March, 2011. Desirous candidates may submit applications to Project Co-ordinator, RBI Young Scholars Award Scheme, Project No. 9277, Post Box No. 7639, Malad (West), Mumbai 400 064 (Online By 14th October, 2010 and offline by 22nd October, 2010).

Sir, I have registered young scholars award online. But i have not sent the application form along with attested copies of my certificates to the specified address. Yet i received my call letter specifying date and venue of the exam. Will i be allowed to write exam? Do i need to carry the application and attested copies along with the call letter during the examination?!

sir, i recd my call letter but not sent my application form with attested copies. Do i need to carry the application at examination hall+ m not getting link to take print-out of my online application form. from which link of RBI i can get mt online application form

sir i registered online and sent my application through speed post but it was delivered back to my home..
and i have yet not recieved call letter..

i lost my roll no,..can anyone help me out by letting me know,tht how to get it,i need it to check my result....(i applied offline),
or if anyone can tell me a roll no. of delhi region who gave their paper at janakpuri centre,,i ll get a distant idea from it,...plss leave ur roll no...

have they announced the examination for the year 2012? last year, the online and offline registration deadlines were 14 Oct and 22 Oct respectively. what about now?
