Applications are invited for M.Tech in Computer Sci, specialization in Data Engineering and Information Security for the session commencing from Aug, 2011.

M.Tech in Computer Science with specialization in Data Engineering - The main objective of the program is to develop manpower for high-end jobs in data engineering in the industry. This will be achieved by an approach involving rigorous and comprehensive academic course work covering theory, fundamentals and hands-on experience with real-world applications. Some key features of the program are :-

IIIT-Delhi has one of the largest Data Engineering groups among the academic institutions in the country.

Some of the courses that students may take : data mining, statistics, information integration, information retrieval, machine learning, distributed databases, and massive data analytics and visualization
The program has been developed collaboratively in consultation with some well-known national and multi-national corporations to ensure that students skill sets strategically align with industry needs.


M.Tech in Computer Science with specialization in information security : This is a very challenging program with main objective of developing manpower for high-end jobs in security in the industry. Some key features of the program are -

IIT-Delhi has one of the largest groups among the academic institutions in the country in the area of information security.
Some of the courses that students may take are digital forensics, cyber/information security, privacy, network security, database security, secure programming and cryptography.
Industry leader (both national and international) have given inputs in designing this program. Some of them have also agreed to host students from this program as interms.
