School of Telemedicine & Biomedical Informatics-STBMI invites applications for the following One Year Diploma Course in the following disciplines

1. Diploma in Telemedicine
2. Diploma in Hospital Information Management System (HIMS)
3. Diploma in Public Health Informatics
4. Diploma in Digital Medical Library (DML)
5. Diploma in Nursing Informatics

Eligibility criteria

1. Diploma in Telemedicine
MBBS/ BDS/ BHS/ BCA / B.Sc. / B.Sc. (IT)/ Diploma (Eng. - Electronics, Instrumentation, Communication, IT, Computer Science from a Polytechnic), B.Sc. (Medical Laboratory Technician), B.Sc. in Nursing or it's equivalent.

2. Diploma in Hospital Information Management System (HIMS)
MBBS/ BDS/ BHS/ BCA / B.Sc. / Diploma (Eng. - Electronics, Instrumentation, Communication, IT, Computer Science from a Polytechnic), B.Sc. (Medical Laboratory Technician), B.Sc. in Nursing or it's equivalent.

3. Diploma in Public Health Informatics
MBBS/BDS / Master's in Hospital Administration / Masters in Public Health. Mid-career professionals preferred

4. Diploma in Digital Medical Library (DML)
Science Graduates with Bachelor in Library Science or Bachelor in Library & Information Science

6. Diploma in Nursing Informatics
Diploma / Bachelor Degree or above in Nursing from recognized institution

Age: Max.35 years for DML and 30 years for the remaining courses, relaxation as per Govt. rules (No age limit for sponsor candidates)

No. of Seats. Ten in each stream. Additional two for Sponsored seats.

Course Fee: Rs. 20,000

Entrance Examination: Selection of candidates will be based on the All India Entrance Examination Test based on MCQ Pattern to be held on 10th July 2011 (Sunday) at the Institute. No Entrance Test for Sponsored Candidates.

Examination Center: School of Telemedicine & Biomedical Informatics, SGPGI Campus, Lucknow.

Apply Online in web site www.stbmi.ac.in (or) Download the application form (pdf) and send duly filled in application along with a demand draft of Rs.300/- towards Examination Fee drawn in favor of Director SGPGI Academic Account, payable at Lucknow by Registered post/Speed Post addressed to The Course Coordinator, School of Telemedicine & Biomedical Informatics, SGPGIMS, Raibareli Road, Lucknow-226014 (UP) India on or before 5th July 2011. Sponsored Candidates may submit advanced copy of the application; however, the applications through proper Channel should reach before the admission date i.e. 15 July 2011.
