Dont take admission in JNTU university because university is too strict, spoiling the careers of the students. The Pre-Ph.D examination result declared has a passing percentage of 12%. Most of the students are withdrawning there admissions. The maximum no of attempts allowed are 3. Thereafter admission is cancelled. The three attempt will take one and half year, the fee spend will be Rs.45000, including the exam fee.

You can confirm this news from the university web
www.jntu.ac.in
click over the results, where you can check the Pre-Ph.D results, along with other results. If you see the results section there will be more revaluation/retotalling results. When you check this content you can find marks are 36 or 38 etc, i,e failed.
Be ware.

Dont take ph.d admission in JNTU. Because as per all india association of indian universities they can't grant not more than 100 ph.d per year.

These total 100 students includes from Engg (40), Chemical (5), Pharmacy (30), Mathematics (5),Biotechnology (10) and english and other (10).

Total no of Ph.D students admitted during 2009-10 is 1007 from various fields. So from these only 107 will be Ph.D awarded after 5 years. Rest of them will be made to fail in Pre-Ph.D exam, rejection of Ph.D work, etc.

So be ware of such money making universities. Further you can cross check from website jntu.ac.in and from the admitted students.
