IGNOU Visual Arts Courses Admissions 2012
IGNOU invites application for three Certificate programmes in Visual Arts- Painting (CVAP), Visual Arts- Applied Art (CVAA)and Visual Arts- Sculpture (CVAS).
All the three certificate programmes have same three theory papers viz, Indian Culture Heritage, understanding Indian art forms and introduction to Indian arts and differ in the practical components. The practical component of CVAP programme consists of direct study from simple objects, study from still life and composition in painting; CVAA consists of geometrical designs and graphic designs while CVAS consists of clay modeling and composition in different medium.
Those who have passed their 10th standard board exam are eligible to apply.
The last date to submit the application form for all these programmes is 30 th July 2012 (with late fee of Rs.200 up to 14th August 2012). Student handbook and prospectus is available in all the regional centers of the university as well as in the university’s headquarters which can be purchased for Rs.100 and submitted along with the requisite fee in the form of a demand draft to the concerned regional centre.
