The Bombay flying club- BFC has been established in 1928. BFC is India's premier aviation institute approved by Director General of civil aviation (DGCA),government of India New delhi. The institute imparts Ground/Flying training and Aircraft Maintenance engineering training.
The Bombay Flying Club is the sole institute in India which is approved by DGCA, Govt. Of India, as well as affiliated with the prestigious University of Mumbai .Therefore this is the only institute which can offer the combination of CPL and B.Sc (Aviation) -3 year degree course together. Advantage the students can pursue their Indian CPL while they are pursuing their graduation- no time is wasted. Those acquiring CPL from Foreign Countries need to convert their CPL into Indian CPL, by appearing in DGCA examinations and passing skill tests all over again in India – which is long process. Air Lines in India employ Pilots with Indian CPL only.
* B.Sc Aviation & Commercial Pilot License
Eligibility : 10+2 with Physics,Maths & English or equivalent and for those who are already holding (CPL/ATPL). Only institute in India which can offer the combination of both above courses
* B.Sc Aeronautics & Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Mechanical & Avionics)
Eligibility : 10+2 with PCM & English or equivalent
* Air Hostess / Cabin Crew (1 year part time diploma course)
Eligibility : 10+2 in any subjects or equivalent
