Andhra University has invited applications for the Education Common Entrance Test 2014
Ed.CET is conducted for granting admissions to B.Ed (Bachelors of Education) in the colleges of Andhra Pradesh. The candidates can submit the application form till April 24 2014.
Courses Offered
* B.Ed. Regular Course in the Colleges of Education in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2014-2015 namely viz. Government, Universities, Aided and Private.
* B.Ed. Special Education (VI) Andhra University, Visakhapatnam
* B.Ed. Special Education (MR) Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Srikakulam
Eligibility :
The candidates should be Indian citizen.
The candidates should be able to satisfy local/ non-local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order 1974, as subsequently amended.
The candidates should have qualified B.A / B.Sc / B.Sc (Home Science)/ BCom/ BCA/ BBM.
The candidates should have scored at least 50 per cent in Bachelors degree.
The entrance test to include 150 objective type multiple choice questions will be held for a duration of two hours. The question paper will be in English and Telugu, except for English methodology.
To apply:
Candidates can apply online by logging on to the official website. The candidates are required to pay an amount of Rs 150 as registration and application fee by either of the two modes of payment i.e. AP Online/ E-Seva/ Mee Seva or Debit/ Credit Card.
Candidates are also required to take a print out of the application form for further usage. Also, the candidates should note down the registration number for future correspondences.
