K.R.Narayanan National Institute of Visual Science & Arts Admissions 2014
K.R.Narayanan National Institute of Visual Science & Arts is an innovative venture in professional film / audio-visual training and a research centre of international standards established by the Government of Kerala at Thekkumthala in Kottayam District of Kerala.
The Institute announces admissions to the first batch of programmes – 2014. Applications are invited for admission to the Three Year Full-Time Diploma Programmes in:
* Script Writing and Direction
* Editing
* Cinematography
* Audiography
* Animation and Visual Effects
* Acting
The candidates should have passed the Plus Two course (Higher Secondary) or equivalent. Those who have appeared for the final examination of the Plus Two course and awaiting results can also apply subject to production of the certificate or mark sheet of the qualifying examination at the time of admission. The upper age limit is 40 years as on 1st June, 2014.
The eligible candidates have to undergo a two stage screening- a preliminary Entrance Examination conducted at all India level followed by an Orientation Programme-cum-Interview for the shortlisted candidates.
The entrance examination Centres will be at Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Kozhikode, Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Kolkata and New Delhi.
The entrance examinations will be conducted at the selected venues on 4th May, 2014.
