National School of Drama Theatre-in-Education 2014

National School of Drama-NSD Tripura one year residential certificate course in Theatre-in-Education and draws students from Tripura and the rest of India. The course aims at preparing theatre teachers for schools and Artist TIE activities.

Theatre in Education an independent discipline that encompasses several other disciplines that relate to a child’s education and creative expression. To keep in mind, How theatre and drama educate young people, this course has been designed in a multi disciplinary manner to equip the students with theatre expertise where courses familiarise them with basics of theatre history, design, content and stagecraft.

Eligibility:

Graduation in any stream from a recognized university in India or abroad.

Experience in theatre or formal/non-formal teaching at school level.

Working knowledge of Hindi and English
