Indian School of Mines University (ISMU) MBA admissions opens
Indian School of Mines University, Dhanbad invites applications for its two-year full-time MBA programme.
Eligibility
*A Bachelor's degree after 10+2 in any discipline from a recognised institution, with at least 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA in aggregate (45 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA for candidates belonging to SC/ ST or persons in the Disability category).
*Candidates appearing for the final bachelor's degree/ equivalent qualification examination can also apply
Selection
Applicants shall have to appear Common Admission Test (CAT) to be conducted by IIMs on November 16, 2008. Candidates short-listed on the basis of CAT score will be called for goup discussion and interview for final selection. The sanctioned strength for the MBA programme is 40 and the reservation policy of Government of India meant for higher educational institutions is strictly adhered to.
A selected candidate who fails to take the admission by the last date may lose his/her claim. On the last date of admission, after 12 noon, the seats may be offered on merit basis to waitlisted candidates.
How to apply
Request for ISM application form and brochure should be accompanied by a demand draft of Rs 1,250/- (One Thousand Two Hundred Fifty only) drawn in favour of Registrar, Indian School of Mines University and payable at Dhanbad with two self addressed stickers and should be addressed to the Assistant Registrar (Academic) Indian School of Mines University, Dhanbad.
The candidates can download the application form from www.ismdhanbad.ac.in and submit the filled-in forms enclosing the Demand draft of Rs 1,250/-.
Last date for submission of filled-in application form is November 28, 2008.
