IMT-Dubai MBA Program 2008 admissions open

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

Students seeking admission to IMT-Dubai MBA Program must submit the following:

Application for admission to the MBA Program, duly completed dated and signed by the applicant.

An Application fees of AED 150 payable to Institute of Management Technology through a cheques or wire transfer.

Crossed Cheques should be drawn in favor of “Institute of Management Technology”

All bank charges /commission are to be borne by the remitter.

Payment by Telegraphic Transfer:

When proceeding with telegraphic transfer instruct your bank to transfer the net amount as per the fee schedule and back charge all bank charges/commissions to the remitter.

Copy of undergraduate / Bachelor degree. Originals or certified copies are required by IMT-Dubai at the time of admission.

Copies of official scores of CAT or GMAT and TOFEL. Originals should be sent directly to IMT Dubai Admission’s office by the testing organization.

Copy of passport.

2 recent passport size photographs.

Upon acceptance into the program, official documents must be submitted. These become the record of IMT and are not returned.

ELIGIBILITY

Applicants must be holding an undergraduate degree ( Bachelor's or equivalent) from a recognized university.
Applicants are expected to have a GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent). For students graduating from systems that do not use the GPA system, the basis of computing the percentage obtained by the candidate in the bachelor's degree would be based on the practice followed by the university / institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree.
Students may be admitted on a probationary basis with less than the 3.0 GPA requirements with exceptional
GMAT/CAT and TOEFL scores.
Official scores of CAT or GMAT are required. Applicants with relevant work experience may be exempted from the CAT/GMAT requirement and will be required to take the internal IMT Admission Test.
TOEFL with a minimum score of 550 (paper based) and 80 plus (internet based). Candidate not having a TOEFL score will have to appear for the test administered by IMT in first semester.
Work experience is not required, though candidates having with 1-2 years of work experience will be preferred.
