Diploma in Event Management (DEM)

The Details of the papers are:

Semester One

1. Event Team Leadership

2. Event Accountancy

3. Presentations & Event Communications

4. Practicum includes Live Events and Projects

Semester Two

5. Modern Event Management Scenario

6. Event Marketing and Advertising

7. Logistics (includes Sound, Lights, Catering, Law, Sponsorships etc.)

8. Practicum includes Live Events, Projects and Case Studies.

The Post-Graduate Diploma in Event Management (PGDEM)

The Details of the papers are:

Semester One

1. Event Team Leadership

2. Event Accountancy

Semester Two

5. Modern Event Management Scenario

6. Event Marketing and Advertising

7. Logistics (includes Sound, Lights, Catering, Law, Sponsorships etc.)

It also has additional subjects like:

1. Event Coordination
2. Special Events like Sports Coordination, Wedding Coordination.

*The DEM is a 11 months part time diploma with lectures 3 times a week (5 pm to 7 pm)

*The PGDEM is a 11 months part time Post Graduate Diploma with lectures 4 times a week (7 pm to 9 pm)

Practical Training

Students are given a lot of practical training and are made to work on small, medium and large Events. They are exposed to the working of National and International level events. They are shown working of AD Agencies, Marketing Agencies, T.V. channels and exposed to Seminars, Meetings, Conferences, etc

Placement

We offer strong placements guidance and help. Our students have been placed at various Organizations, Corporate World, Event Management Companies, Ad Agencies, Hotels, Airlines etc. We are able to place about 80% of the students enrolled every year.


ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Part time DEM & PGDEM
Admission forms along with the prospectus will be available between 11.00 am to 7.00 pm from Monday to Saturday.

Students will also have to submit a duly filled admission form and then he/she will pay the required fees.

Students can email us on support@niemindia.com and ask for admission forms of DEM & PGDEM which will be sent by email. Fill it, attach fees and send to obtain admission.

PS: Forms without fees will not be treated as admission granted, or a seat kept reserved.

PS: Students should also attach a photocopy of their final year or HSC mark sheet and three photographers with the duly filled in application form. Students who are appearing for their final year or HSC can also apply provided they submit their mark sheet on receiving the same.

PGDAME
Obtain the form from NIEM or download it from the course section, fill it and send. You will be called for interview, if you stay out of Mumbai you can opt for telephonic interview, if you clear the interview, admission is granted and you have to pay your fees to confirm the admission.

PS: Students should also attach a photocopy of their final year mark sheet and three photographers with the duly filled in application form. Students who are appearing for their final year can also apply provided they submit their mark sheet on receiving the same
